Westside Park, Escondido
Commercial Playground Construction | Escondido, California
Project Overview
Project Details
Westside Park has been part of its Escondido neighborhood for more than five decades, and even its name has local roots. It was selected through a contest involving children from nearby Central and Felicita Schools. In 2025, Western State Builders installed an updated playground within this compact 2.3-acre park, adding a fresh play experience alongside the basketball court, open turf, picnic areas, and covered shelter that make up this neighborhood gathering space.
The new playground makes the most of Westside Park’s smaller footprint, combining climbing, sliding, and active play features within a dedicated play area surrounded by the park’s other recreational amenities. Commercial playground equipment and durable safety surfacing provide a long-lasting play space that fits naturally into a park designed primarily for everyday neighborhood recreation and family gatherings.
