Project Details
Brentwood Park has been part of Costa Mesa’s Eastside neighborhood since 1978, serving as a small community park where local families can gather and play. In 2026, Western State Builders installed the park’s new playground, replacing equipment that had served the community for decades. The updated design introduces dedicated play opportunities for younger children ages 2–5 alongside equipment for ages 5–12, giving families with children at different stages more ways to enjoy the park together.
The new playground features commercial play structures with slides, climbing elements, swings, and sensory play components, complemented by safety surfacing and shade. Designed around the needs of a neighborhood park, the finished space provides a more varied play experience while fitting naturally into Brentwood Park’s intimate, family-focused setting.
