Jesmond Dene Park
Commercial Playground Construction | Escondido, California
Project Overview
Project Details
Jesmond Dene Park combines neighborhood recreation with the more open, natural character of northern Escondido. While the park spans 35 acres, only 16 acres are developed, creating a setting where youth baseball, trails, picnic areas, open turf, and playground recreation come together. In 2025, Western State Builders added a new playground to this longtime community park, expanding the recreational options available to families visiting the Jesmond Dene neighborhood.
The 2025 playground installation is centered around a large multi-level play structure with elevated platforms, slides, climbing components, overhead activities, and ground-level play features. Separate swings and additional freestanding play elements expand the ways children can use the space, while the playground’s safety surfacing creates a defined play area within Jesmond Dene Park’s larger recreation setting.
